Old Down Manor is a venue of distinction set in an idyllic location with breath-taking panoramic views across the river Severn to the Black Mountains and beyond. Approached via a tree lined avenue the magnificent Victorian Manor House sits within 60 acres of beautiful formal gardens, grazing land and age old woodland.
The venue which launched at the end of October 2011 has seen a £4 Million renovation with chic bedrooms and bespoke reception rooms, including a stunning orangery with a capacity of 120 seated for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests in the evening. Old Down Manor also has a magical atrium with crystal chandeliers and a sweeping Bath stone staircase with a romantic gallery landing.
Old Down Manor prides itself on being an exclusive venue with only one event at a time ensuring that you and your guests get the highest quality service and use of the fantastic facilities such as indoor pool and tennis court along with 13 bedrooms. The Manor also boasts its own unique cellar night club with a red Russian theme perfect for a unique evening reception with dancing.
Our in-house team of chefs are skilled at providing the perfect menu for your wedding from canapés to a six course tasting menu you will not be disappointed. At your bespoke menu tasting you will be able to choose your special menu.
